The stunning actress signed a deal with the French fashion house to front a new campaign - the first time she has represented a fragrance and cosmetics brand.
Claude Martinez, president and chief executive officer of Parfums Christian Dior, said: "We are extremely excited to have Miss Portman embody our house. She will symbolise with grace the values of luxury and the glamour of Dior."
It is not yet known which project Natalie - who follows in the footsteps of Sharon Stone, Charlize Theron, Jude Law and Monica Bellucci - will be involved in.
Despite her striking beauty, Natalie recently admitted she is concerned about losing her looks after seeing so many ageing actresses struggle.
The 28-year-old star said: "You see people who were stars five years ago and already they're waning. As actresses approach 40, it starts becoming really, really difficult."
However, the 'Closer' actress said she didn't think she would surgically alter her appearance to look younger.
When asked if she'd have cosmetic surgery in future, she said: "I would hope not."

Natalie Portman has a Rumored Boyfriend??
-Posted by: ashleymarie1992
If Rodrigo Santoro wants to squash the rumor that he's dating Natalie Portman, he's not doing a very good job of it! The Brazilian actor played it coy with reporters in Rio de Janeiro when asked about the relationship, telling QUEM magazine that they are not together but dating...or not, depending on how you look at it.
"No, I am not with her," Santoro said, reportedly with a smile on his face. Seconds later, the star backtracked and said, "You could say we are ficando, more or less."
Oh, ficar. That tricky Portuguese word which could mean anything from hanging out to dating (usually the latter). We wonder why Santoro chose to use it!
We can't blame him for giving an ambiguous, nonsensical answer, though...if we were dating Portman, we'd try to keep the prying eyes of the media away for as long as possible, too.
Do you think Rodrigo Santoro and Natalie Portman are dating?

Natalie Portman makes A Powerful Noise for women
-Posted by: Quivi
Last night, CGG caught up with actress-gone-activist Natalie Portman at an evening to celebrate women in NYC. After the screening of A Powerful Noise, which follows the lives of three marginalized women who rise up to empower themselves and their communities, there was an all-star panel discussion featuring Natalie, Madeleine Albright, and glamazon Christy Turlington.
In an exclusive CGG Interview with the Oscar nominee, Natalie told us about some of the hardships women face, "Its definitely a big challenge when our culture is simultaneously pushing girls to be in bras or on covers of magazines and proclaiming their virginity at the same time..."
The film followed the women fighting for three different causes--HIV/AIDS, ethnic clashes, and education--on opposite sides of the globe. What unites them is their belief that women can both help themselves gain better lives and be the solution to global poverty. ... Read More ...

Ben Stiller Pokes Fun at Joaquin Phoenix at Academy Awards
-Posted by: Quivi
Ben Stiller poked fun at Joaquin Phoenix at Sunday's Academy Awards. Presenting Best Cinematography alongside Natalie Portman, Stiller walked on stage with a bushy beard and sunglasses and chomped on gum.
Playing along with his joke, Portman then said, "This is ridiculous," and chastised Stiller for chewing gum at the Oscars. "OK, I'll take it out," Phoenix said and stuck the gum on the podium (Phoenix made a similar move recently on the Late Show With David Letterman). ... Read More ...
Oscar Red-Carpet Fashion: Natalie Portman And Sarah Jessica Parker Shine
-Posted by: Quivi
While the Oscar red carpet was a sea of red and nude tones, there were a few women who decided to really stand out from the crowd. It seemed like each actress who graced the carpet didn't get the memo that the one before her was going to be showing up to Hollywood's biggest night in the same color.
But Robert Verdi, stylist to stars like Eva Longoria, felt that if anyone did the nude tone right, it was John Mayer's lady, Jennifer Aniston. "She looks a little draggish, but she looked the best in that color," he said. "In it, she steals it."
In addition to the onslaught of nude and red, designer Richie Rich noticed that the night was dominated by one-shoulder gowns. "I'm surprised everyone had one shoulder. I don't know who told Hollywood one shoulder was missing," he told MTV News, adding, "I'm not the biggest fan of red. There was a lot of red." ... Read More ...
